Compensation:

Pay Range: $26.52 – $43.15 / hour

Job Description:

To provide and manage patient care in a clinical area for specific age and patient populations. To deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. To work within codes of practice and professional guidelines. To accurately and efficiently triage the telephone calls that are received from patients, their caregiver, relatives and other members of the healthcare team. To prioritize patient health problems according to their urgency, educate/advise patients, schedule appointments and make safe, effective clinical decisions under the direction of the patient’s physician.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Nursing and one (1) year of clinical nursing experience required. Work experience may not substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
